Anna Knight currently works at the California Area Office, Office of Public Health as a NP Health Consultant /Area HPDP consultant providing guidance and technical assistance to tribal and urban programs in California. She received her BSN from San Diego State University in 1997, and her MS, FNP from Georgetown University in 2013. Her clinical experience includes: family practice, internal medicine, nephrology/transplant, urgent care, transitional care management, advanced wound care, pediatric and adult forensics. Anna and her husband Tim have 4 children and 8 grandchildren. They share a love for: road trips to spend time with family and friends, seeing new places and being out in nature. In her spare time Anna enjoys cooking, gardening, landscaping, sewing and painting as her creative outlets. Anna is also an endometrial cancer survivor with 5 years no evidence of disease, and was primary caregiver to her mother June who passed away in 2022 from esophageal cancer.
