Mayan Bomsztyk, MD

Dr. Bomsztyk attended medical school and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle. After completing her chief residency year, she joined the Seattle VA Puget Sound Health Care System and in 2017, she assumed the role of Medical Director for the Primary Care Clinic. In 2020, she joined VISN 21 as Primary Care lead and in 2022 became Deputy CMO for the VISN. While at VISN 21, she has worked on a variety of operational programs including programmatic mailed FIT, expanding telemedicine services and developed mechanisms for resource sharing across facilities in her network. She lives in Berkeley with her husband, two boys and puppy.
