Dr. Brenna Lin is an Applied Research Scientist at the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA), where she serves as a scientific lead for the research, development and maintenance of health care quality measures. Her work there involves management of the cancer portfolio within the Health Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS), including the breast, cervical and colorectal cancer screening measures. At NCQA, her work has been funded by CMS, CDC, CalPERS, and others.
Before joining NCQA, Dr. Lin supported the State of California in positions at the Department of Public Health and Covered California, where she conducted data evaluation in health care utilization and quality of care. She is driven by a purpose to inform investment and decision making through measurement and evaluation.
